April 3. Duped: A Riveting Event at 92Y
Valerie Smaldone interviews journalist Abby Ellin whose new book Duped, tells the true story of how she was shocked to learn that her fiancé was leading a secret life. But as she soon discovered, the world is full of people who aren’t what they seem. April 6. Men in Kilts
It’s the annual Tartan Day parade up Sixth Avenue and you’ll find the swirl of kilts, the skirl of bagpipes and the cheers of tens of thousands of spectators. It’s a very fun parade with pipe bands from across the globe, dancers, clans, dogs, politicians, Scottish cultural organizations, plus of COURSE the Loch Ness Monster, in a joyous New York celebration of Scottish pride.
