Black on the Red Carpet at the Golden Globes

Hollywood actresses stood in solidarity this weekend by wearing black at the Golden Globes.  In the sea of black, there were some beautiful looks that really stood out, and some misses too.  We definitely liked the tuxedo look wear by several actresses too.

In terms of the winners, we were thrilled that Sterling K Brown, This is Us, won best actor, well deserved. And Big Little Lies was one of our favorite series, and we were thrilled to see female producers Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman , who also won well-deserved best actress in a drama, and the entire cast honored. And one of our favorite new comedies is on Amazon and we were delighted to see   Rachel Brosnahan win as best actress in a comedy in the The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which won best comedy series. Bravo!

Who Wore It Best

We love this gown worn by Naomi Campbell. It was at the top of our favorites.

Love the red sash that Mandy Moore added to her gown.

Kerry Washington always gets it right and we we just love the booties.

Loved the one shoulder look on Resse Witherspoon.

Nicole Kidman was simply stunning.

We loved how elegant Claire Foy looked in a simple black suit fit for a queen.

Gal Gadot is a wonder woman in this beautiful gown with a tuxedo bolero.

We love Kyra Sedgewick's tuxedo suit. Perfection.

Stunning gown worn by the beautiful Dakata Johnson.

Laura Dern proves you can look sexy with some mesh in your plunging neckline.

We loved everythibg about Viola Davis's look, especially her hair!

The Misses

The beautiful Angeline Jolie seemed to get lost in this overwhelming outfit. Maybe she is covering up her painfully thin body.

We love Connie Britton's statement T-shirt but don't it belonged on the Red Carpet.

Debra Messing's gown was a misstep.

On my. The very talented Elizabeth Moss looks like she's still in her Handmaiden role.

Oh Heidi, Hedi, Heid.

This was just a mess. Sorry SJP.

Did Halle Berry use Heidi Klum's stylist?
