NYC Life: Film, Dance, Comedy, and More
There is no shortage of entertaining, fun, and informative things to do this fall in NYC. For starters, there’s The Three Tomatoes film series on Dec. 6 with a screening of the award winning documentary, Women of ’69 Unboxed, followed by a thought provoking panel discussion. Love dance? Check out the American Dance Machine. And funny lady and standup comic Leigh Ann Lord is appearing LIVE in NYC this month. She can make a bad day good. And how about using your feminine wiles to get what you want? Read on for events that should make it onto your calendar.
Join us on Sunday Dec. 6 at the Triad for the NYC launch of the 3T Film series, celebrating women over 40 with films that entertain, enlighten, and build a bridge between generations. The Boomer generation started the revolution to change things for women in the 60’s. It was the dawn of a new era for women where they had freedom to make choices in their role in society and change their own destiny which is the subject of Women of ’69 UNBOXED, our first film in the series. The screening will be followed by a lively panel discussion that includes the filmmakers. Get more details and tickets.
One of our very favorite standup comics, is Leigh Ann Lord (who also blogs for the 3Ts too) is performing live at comedy club Stand Up NY on Nov. 18 and 25 at 8PM. (Yes, a show early enough that we can be home in bed by 10PM). We promise it will be a very funny night, and there’s nothing like comedy to cure whatever ails you. Get the details.
Now here’s an interesting event. Head to Montclair, NJ for a full day seminar on the “Seven Tools of the Fascinating Woman”. Join Anita Teresa (a panelist our last event, “Does Sexy Have an Expiration Date?”) who is a consummate artist & teacher of the feminine path, for a one-of-a-kind training event for visionary women wanting more, and Rebecca Irby, for practical tips and tools for women to remain feminine while leveraging influence in a male-dominated work & financial world. Use code “tomato” and get a 20% discount. Get the details. 7 Tools of the Fascinating Woman
