NYC LIFE: Cuba Comes to NYC, Eataly Hits Wall Street, Sunset Wednesdays

Upper West Centers will rejoin with the pop up TKTS booths at Lincoln Center. Sunset Wednesday’s are back at Wave Hill.

Aug. 15-21. First Annual Harlem-Havana Cultural Exchange
The movement to normalize relations between the U.S. and Cuba is coming to Harlem this summer: from August 15-21, the first annual Harlem/Havana Music & Cultural Festival will bring Cuban musicians, artists, dancers, chefs, educators, and more to New York as part of Harlem Week 2016.
TKTS Comes to Lincoln Center
Upper West Siders rejoice. Now you can pick up discounted theater tickets at a pop-up TKTS booth at its David Rubenstein Atrium. The new pop-up booth will be there for three months and will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. The pop-up booth will operate much like other TKTS booths at Times Square, the South Street Seaport and Downtown Brooklyn. People will be able to purchase same-day tickets for shows off and on Broadway at the booth at discounted rates up to 50 percent.
Eataly Comes to Wall Street.
No matter what the market does, the Wall Street will rejoice because on Aug. 11 Eataly opens its new 45,000-square-foot store, on the third level of 4 World Trade Center. And catering to the early morning crowd, they’ll l offer four different breakfast options, an egg-sandwich panini stand, a coffee bar, a bakery and a sit-down restaurant. Sure beats an Egg McMuffin! Get the scoop.
