Sept. 26-Oct. 8. Fall for Dance Festival

New York City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival has received international acclaim for its quality, innovation, and success in introducing new and younger audiences to the world of dance. Since its inception eleven years ago, Fall for Dance has presented nearly 200 companies and artists, and has introduced more than 290,000 newcomers and dance enthusiasts to an eclectic mix of choreographers and performers. NYC City Ballet – New Season is Here!

Three full-length classics. 43 contemporary works from 22 choreographers, including Peck, Ratmansky, Wheeldon, and Martins. Eight world premieres. And almost 30 audience favorites from our Founding Choreographers George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. Tickets for the 2016-17 season are on sale now.

September 29.  A Fun Evening Celebrating Our Female Friendships

One of her favorite tomatoes, Merrill Stone is inviting tomatoes to an upcoming “Merrill’s Girls” event that just happens to feature 3T contributor, Cheryl Lazarus, our “Love Coach”.  Cheryl will talk about the value of girlfriends, which is so important in our lives.  But she’ll also talk about those toxic friendships too. The event will take place at Radicchio, on 3rd Avenue and East 93rd   from 6:30 to 9:30PM.  Pasta, salad, a glass of wine and a great topic all for just $47. Gabrielle Carlson invites you to her boutique for an evening soiree featuring her beautiful clothes, champagne, and other fabulous women like you.  125 East 47^th street.  From 6-9 PM.   You can of course, drop during the day too.  Monday-Saturday.

Monday Oct. 10. A Special VIP Invite

Cheryl Benton (aka the head tomato) who is part of the NYC Leadership Council for Because I am a Girl, invites you for a very special evening (6 to 8:30 PM) celebrating girls who will change the world thanks to a global non-profit, Plan International USA. At this event you will meet a few of the girls and boys in Plan’s Because I am a Girl program from Uganda, El Salvador and the U.S., in addition to top leaders from Plan International USA.

The evening includes a wine reception and hors d’oeuvres, a chance to meet the girls and learn more about the amazing work of Because I am a Girl. We think once you hear more about the mission and accomplishments of Because I am a Girl, you will want to invest in the future of girls and join the movement too.

Oct. 1. Strut Your Mutt.

Get excited New York City, because Strut Your Mutt is no ordinary dog walking event. Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event is about saving lives, because every day more than 9,000 dogs and cats are killed in shelters, simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. By working together to raise money for animals, we can Save Them All®.
