The ONE Must Have Shoe
Loafers have made a huge comeback and we are thrilled. Pictured above are a few of the loafers featured on the runway shows. They’re comfy and there are so many fabulous styles you wear them with just about any look. Remember Bass Weejuns? Well Bass Weejun was actually the designer who created the loafer in the 1930s – originally for men, but they were so popular he created a women’s version. And Gucci introduced the tassel loafer in the 1950s. So while the ubiquitous loafer has never really gone out of style, it is back in a big way with some wonderful designs too.
Expect to pay $700 and upwards for a pair of high end designer loafers, but for the rest of us, here are some wonderful loafers with a lighter price tag.
