East Village Honors Ruth Bader Ginsburg
This three-story tall building honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg and celebrating her life is going up in the East Village. It’s the creation of street artist “Elle”, commissioned by by the public art charity LISA Project NYC” and when it is finished it will depict various scenes from her life. It’s at the corner of 11th Street and 1st Avenue.
Rooftop Cabin at Pier 17
Remember last summer when they set up cabanas? Well now you can rent a rooftop winter cabin. You can reserve your cabin for 2 to 10 people and it includes: Spacious & heated floor; On-site contactless food & beverage purchasing; Comfy banquette seating; Molekule air purifier; Virtual fireplace; Classic winter cabin décor; and floor to ceiling views of NYC. The Queen and the Crown Virtual Exhibit
OMG. If loved the Queens Gambit (Netfix) and the Crown (Netflix) which returns Sunday night, then you will love this 3D exhibit created by the Brooklyn Museum in partnership with Netflix, and you don’t have to leave your couch. The exhibition is a digital interactive 360-degee views of costumes from the two series, along with related objects from the museum’s collection, all set within a rendering of the Museum’s soaring Beaux-Arts Court.
