Chief Marketing Officer / Founding Partner

Canopy Management

A wine professional with over 30 years in the business, Terry began her career as a teenage rodeo trick rider promoting E & J Gallo wines in California. In fact, she married a champion professional cowboy and raised two children while working her way up to Director of On-Premise Marketing. Terry then spent 14 years with Trinchero Family Estates (Sutter Home Winery) as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Terry’s mission has long been to bring a female point of view to the male-dominated world of wine. She and her friends founded Canopy Management to create delicious, affordable wines with stories that come from women’s life experiences.

And so the Wine Sisterhood was born.

The Wine Sisterhood is an online community where women can join the conversation. Founded by Terry and a group of female wine marketers, colleagues and friends, the Wine Sisterhood aims to develop wine brands by listening to and learning from real women. Their brands speak to the power of sisterhood with a mission to entertain, educate, inform and inspire. The first brainchild of this group,Middle Sister Wines, is able to spread laughter and evenings full of indulgence thanks to the voices of women all over the country.

And to make Terry’s mission complete, all brands developed by The Wine Sisterhood align with causes that support women and encourage their success.

The Wine Sisterhood is proud to support the following causes:

Tough Enough to Wear Pink – Purple Cowboy is the official wine of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and a proud supporter of Tough Enough to Wear Pink. This Wrangler sponsored campaign for breast cancer research has raised over 17 million dollars through rodeos and western events across the country. A breast cancer survivor herself, Terry co-founded the campaign with PRCA commissioner, Karl Stressman.

Help a Sister Out – Hunger shouldn’t be a women’s issue, but more women and children go hungry than any other demographic group in the United States. Middle Sister pledges to donate a minimum of $15,000 to food bank charities across the country every year.

Emerging Artists – PromisQuous wines support emerging artists who dare to express themselves in an uncommon way through grants and in-kind donations.

Give Art A Hand – Good Daughter wines support this fund to promote art programs in schools. The fund was created to remember Emily, who was gifted in art.
