I felt like I was in Europe when a friend took me to Mistral, a true award winning French bistro, for my birthday lunch. The service is absolutely impeccable! The food to die for! And the Parisian elegance and charm is perfection. It was like being welcomed in to a gracious home. Our waiter, Alejandro and Henri, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer. They make you feel so special which just adds to the wonderful ambiance and the amazing meal, which makes for a memorable experience. Mistral is a class act in every way tomatoes.
Mistral opened their doors in 1988, Mistral has consistently been recognized as among the San Fernando Valley’s best restaurants. Seasonally inspired daily specials complement the heralded favorites, like New York Steak “Au Poivre” or Grilled Lamb Chops. An expertly curated wine list contains ample by the glass selections which beautifully pair with each of your delicious courses.
The lunch menu includes a French Onion Soup, Escargots a La Bourguignonne, fresh Ahi Tuna Salad “Nicoise”, and Grilled Wild Salmon, Arugula and Baby Kale Salad.
