Cheryl Benton, founder of The Three Tomatoes, and Anne Akers founder/editor of Glow Beauty, Health and Wellness are thrilled to announce our partnership with the She Angels Foundation (a 501c3 non-profit), a dynamic organization dedicated to uplifting women-led initiatives. Together, we have established The Three Tomatoes/Glow She Angels Foundation Giving Circle, which awards grants to grassroots female-founded non-profit organizations that provide mentorship, funding & resources to a diverse portfolio of women’s and girls’ causes.
In a short span of four years, She Angels Foundation has awarded more than forty-five $5,000 grants, which have impacted thousands of women across our country.
How Can Help? Join Our Giving Circle
We are excited to announce that our first recipient is the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute (BALI), a NYC-based non-profit grassroots organization. Going forward, our giving circle will select a deserving non-profit, approved through the She Angels Foundation, to receive a $5,000 grant. These grants will empower women to continue their vital work and drive positive change.
100% of all donations go to the recipient non-profit.
Together, we aim to raise $5,000 over the next few months. Every donation counts, no matter the amount. For those who contribute at least $500, you will also become a valued member of the She Angels Foundation, unlocking exclusive benefits and opportunities.
About BALI
Founded in 2005, BALI utilizes the signature leadership skills of the late New York Congresswoman Bella S. Abzug. BALI, mentors and trains motivated youth, of middle, high school and college age, in the development of confidence and the critical skills needed to become effective, dynamic and visionary 21st century leaders.
With your support, we will present the $5,000 grant to Liz Abzug, BALI’s founder, at The Three Tomatoes Annual Renewal Summit in NYC in 2025.

The tomato behind The Three Tomatoes.
Cheryl Benton, aka the “head tomato” is founder and publisher of The Three Tomatoes, a digital lifestyle magazine for “women who aren’t kids”. Having lived and worked for many years in New York City, the land of size zero twenty-somethings, she was truly starting to feel like an invisible woman. She created The Three Tomatoes just for the fun of it as the antidote for invisibility and sent it to 60 friends. Today she has thousands of friends and is chief cheerleader for smart, savvy women who want to live their lives fully at every age and every stage.
