Trust me there are many nights that we stay home and watch television.  However, our dance card is usually filled with five activities per week from folks who we love and enjoy.  We now have the advantage of so many choices that it just makes our lives filled with cheerful energy. It’s comforting to know you have options.

Miami Dinner Club is a private members’ community that curates social events designed for your personal enjoyment. They curate a consistent schedule of enjoyable experiences all year long. Meet The Miami Mermaids 

I have never met two women like Randi Renate and Beatriz Chachamovits. They would both prefer to spend more time deep down in the ocean than on land. Randi told me that when she is deep in the ocean there is a physiological change in her mind and body that makes her so peaceful and euphoric that she forgets the challenges of everyday life. Beatriz agrees. It’s a wonderment. That’s why they both scuba dive as often as possible.

Randi comes from Texas and Beatriz Chachamovits comes from Brazil. The two of them met two years ago in Miami and formed an art partnership that is devoted to telling the world about the bizmol state of coral reefs all across the globe. Yes, they have every intention of exploring other ecosystems in the ocean like that are running into trouble. Their main mission is to help save the planet.

The minute I met them I was mesmerized by their smarts and style. They are both in their 30s and have had several exhibits in and out of the United States that educate and entertain visitors about ecology.  I would encourage all The Three Tomatoes readers to listen to the interview I did with Beatriz and Randi on my podcast called Art Lovers Forum. This interview is not necessarily about art. It’s about the love of the ocean and what most of us are missing not being able to spend time below the surface. I am planning to go after movie and TV producers to develop a reality series about the journeys of Beatriz and Randi spending time in the ocean, a modern-day Sea Hunt. Sea Hunt was a syndicated action-adventure television show that first aired between 1958 and 1962 (filmed 1957-1961) and starred Lloyd Bridges (1913-1998). Produced by Ivan Tors Studios based in Miami. The story was all about a scuba diver who was often called on for difficult or dangerous projects. I will tweak it a bit for our artist/scuba divers who have a lot to say.

Lincoln Road Will Be Getting a Makeover

This is a major scoop. I don’t think 99 percent of the residents in Miami Beach know that Lincoln Road, which has seen better days, is finally going to get a major facelift. My good friend, Zachary Belil, one of the leading real estate agents in Miami, revealed the news in his Monday morning Instagram report. I have included it here.

This news is so important because Lincoln Road used to be a hot spot for social gatherings. Many of the popular restaurants and stores closed over the years leaving locals and tourists very disappointed. I hated hearing negative comments about my favorite outdoor mall because we had so many good times there over the last 20 years.

Miami Beach needs a revitalization in certain areas. Zach will tell you about other spots as well that will be going under a transformation. Zach is a must every Monday morning.
