In Love With Yahaira’s Café in Pasadena
I just Love Love Love LOVE Yahaira Café and their light Yucatan and Mexican Inspired fare. I adored my shrimp empanadas so much so that I literally ordered another! I kid you not! Fortunately, my friend intervened to help me see reason. I was simply possessed by the unique, fresh, orgasmic flavors and textures that delighted my taste buds. Am I going to far? Methinks not. You immediately sense the pride and care given to preparing and delivering every item on the menu. So tomatoes you just gotta check out Yahaira’s Cafe.
A few tidbits… The atmosphere is sunny and bright and is reflected in their attitude. It’s an art gallery as well with a new artist works displayed each month. The owners, Abel and Armando Ramirez are also the proprietors of El Portal Yucatan and Mexican Cuisine and their sister restaurant is named after their mother…Yahaira. Now doesn’t that tug at your heart strings?
