Leo’s Oyster Bar

Leo’s Oyster Bar

There are a few things that I consider a “tomatoes” best friends… diamonds (of course), dark chocolate and the effervescently delightful beverage – champagne. At Leo’s, the latest creation of The Big Night Restaurant Group (Owners Anna Weinberg and James Nicholas, whose son is LEO!) every celebrated bottle of champagne can be found. This elegant, inviting restaurant is a haven for champagne lovers as well as those with a sophisticated palate.  Sister to Park Tavern (my family’s favorite, until now), Cavalier and Marlowe, Leo’s is decorated with inspiration from the Mad Men era with an entry way which made me smile with its delightful tropical wallpaper.

Leo’s Oyster BarPrepare to spend time ogling the champagne menu while you make your decision. Best to go with friends so you can sample the many fresh seafood offerings as well. Oysters, king crab legs, Maine lobster claws and a New England Lobster roll are some of the opulent and decadent menu items. Special occasion coming up? No need to look further. In March they open the exclusive Champagne room. Cheers to tiny bubbles! 568 Sacramento Street.
