While snow might make a last debut this weekend, spring is in the air and here a few fun things to add to your calendar.

March 26 – July 24.  Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty

Spring Fun! Degas, Pageants, Bacon & Beer

Though known for his paintings, 19th-century French artist Edgar Degas produced a number of rarely seen monotypes. MoMA presents the first monographic exhibition of the artist, displaying nearly 130 of his monotypes and approximately 50 related works, like paintings, drawings, prints and sketches.  For more information, visit moma.org.

April 3. The Ms. New York Senior America Pageant

Spring Fun! Degas, Pageants, Bacon & Beer

Held annually at Hofstra University, this inspiring and fun event spotlights and honors “women who aren’t kids.” Women of achievement, age 60 and over who, with their talent, abilities and positive projection of aging, best exemplify what women can and do accomplish. Several of these talented ladies have participated in our last three talents shows too, included Mary Malloy this year, and 2014 finalists, Edna Kaufmann and Virginia Werner.  Join the fun and celebrate these terrific ladies.
