NYC LIFE: Hamptons Wildlife, Cabaret, Castles, France, Broadway Outdoors and More
Glorious July has arrived and there are fun things to do in and out of NYC. We have the scoop on wildlife in the Hamptons – and yes, they are party animals. We have a couple of tickets available for our 3T private tour of Central Park’s Belvedere Castle, but don’t delay. Summer is a great time for live music and the cabarets are hot, hot, hot. Vive La France! French restaurant week is back. Head to Bryant Park for lunchtime Thursdays and catch live performances from some of Broadway’s top shows. Want a quick getaway that really feels like a vacation? Head to Governor’s Island. Speaking of getaways Valerie Smaldone says head to the Duckwalk Vineyards on Long Island’s North Fork for an evening of Opera and Broadway.
July 18. 3T Private Tour of Belvedere Castle
Central Park’s Belvedere Castle just reopened after a 15-month restoration project. We have arranged for a private tour for our Three Tomatoes Insider Club Members for $15. Non-club members can join us if space is available for $20.00. The tour starts at 10:30 am and we will also reserve a table at Tavern on the Green for anyone who would like to stay for lunch. July 8-21. French Restaurant Week
This special two-weeks offers customers the ability to enjoy prix-fixe menu options during dinner, and in some cases, lunch. Restaurants will be offering special promotional prices of $17.89 (bar option), $25 (lunch option), $42 (dinner option) and $178.90 (dinner option for 2) in honor of the French Revolution. July 11-Aug. 15. Broadway in Bryant Park
Every Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 you can watch free performances of some of the from some ofmost popular shows on and off Broadway performing their biggest hits. Shows include: Beetlejuice, Chicago, Come From Away, Jersey Boys, Waitress. Get the schedules and details.
Getaway to Governor’s Island
It’s only 800 yards from Lower Manhattan, and you’ll find yourself in a world unto itself, unique and full of promise.
