The Pawn Shop Speakeasy

Enter “The Pawn Shop” …and discover one of the last great mysteries of San Francisco. I love a good mystery and there’s nothing like remembering the film noir days. A hidden tapas bar with a one-of-a-kind menu and extensive wine list – await as you enter the dimly lit spot. Formerly an iconic pawnshop in the heart of the San Francisco’s storied 6th Street corridor, the Pawn Shop is a unique and immersive dining experience where flavor and creativity meet.

It is oh so clever and to access the Pawn Shop, you will need to find the golden phone at 996 Mission Street or next door inside the Monarch bar. Pick up the phone and speak with the pawn master. He may be grumpy at times but will tell you how to enter the shop. If you have something interesting to pawn or sell, it may help your cause! So pretend we are in the prohibition era, break out your slinkiest attire and stroll over. No reservations unless you have a group of 10.
