A Trip Back to the 1960’s
The 1960’s were a fabulous decade, filled with radical change, shifting consciousness, social awakening, sexual freedom, and oh yes, amazing music. You can take a trip back to that era with the new scripted episodic series, Joyland, now available to view on YouTube.
This series was developed by novelist and playwright Gary Morgenstein, network executive Russell Friedman and director DeMone Seraphin.
Joyland begins in 1964 and takes place in New York City and in the Catskills at a then popular bungalow colony. Complete with vintage photos and footage, sound effects and music, Joyland showcases the actors who have all been shot entirely on Zoom and uses the convention of a narrator to provide stage directions and define the setting.
