Are You Ready to Jumpstart Your Style?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

More than two months ago, I had what was to be my last in-person client appointment before the SF Bay Area began sheltering in place. We shopped to fill the holes in my client’s wardrobe and found a bunch of great items that align with her unique style and multiply her wardrobe possibilities. And we made plans for a styling session the following week, to integrate everything into her current wardrobe.

Fast forward a few days and the Bay Area stay at home orders were implemented. At that point, I postponed my remaining March in-person appointments to April. But fast forward 10+ weeks later and we’re still sheltering in place and I haven’t seen a client in-person since that last shopping trip.

The past two months have been a roller coaster for all of us, both personally and professionally. Outside of figuring out how to get toilet paper and eggs, and suddenly becoming Zoom aficionados, we’ve pivoted to working virtually most (if not all) of the time – as opposed to the random work from home Friday. And as part of this, I’ve had to pivot my predominantly 1-on-1, in-person client based business to virtual appointments.

Gratefully, many of my clients are continuing our work virtually, so that we can maintain momentum with updating their style to become a tool (rather than an obstacle) in achieving their goals. And I’ve onboarded new clients for virtual closet audits, styling and shopping sessions (read more about these services here). The good news is that I’m able to work with clients all over the country for my standard services – but I also wanted to provide virtual options beyond my closet/shop/style system, so that you can work on your style in a way that makes sense for you, especially at this time. So, here are two new (virtual) ways to work with me, to give you more options to enjoy your style.

STYLE PORTFOLIO

Have you ever wondered what your style is? Or thought that you had no style? Or have you wanted guidelines and guardrails on what should be in your closet? Then I’ve created Style Portfolio just for you.

Style Portfolio is a virtual service designed to give you the tools to create a wardrobe that aligns with your lifestyle and your unique style. We’ll work together to define and refine your personal style, discuss how it fits into your lifestyle, review your body shape and talk about your wardrobe challenges. We accomplish this through a 1 hour video call and then I’ll provide you with your personal Style Portfolio to use as a reference going forward.

By the time we’re done, you’ll have a bunch of tools that give you filters on cleaning out your closet, deciding what you need in your wardrobe and selecting things that align not only with your individual style, but with your lifestyle. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Clarity on your own style – through style archetypes and a custom style mood board
  • Tips for integrating your style into your lifestyle
  • Goals and styling tips specific to your body shape
  • A list of key wardrobe essentials that will help you express your individual style

If you’re ready to gain clarity on your style and discover how it can work in your lifestyle, contact me to schedule your Style Portfolio session.

ASK PAUL

Do you have specific questions about your wardrobe? Are you having a hard time creating outfits with some of your favorite things? Or do you want to show up more professionally on Zoom?

Ask Paul is a 1 hour virtual consultation where you can ask anything you want about your style. We’ll align on a topic prior and then connect via video call for 60 minutes. Common Ask Paul topics are:

  • Mini closet review – you can show me things in your closet that you’re not sure if you should keep or you’re having a hard time wearing.
  • Create outfits – we can spend time creating a handful of outfits from your more challenging styles.
  • Video call prep – we can focus on your presence on Zoom calls. We’ll review what you’re wearing, your backdrop, your lighting, etc.
  • Headshot/photoshoot prep – we’ll talk through your goals for the shoot and select styles from your wardrobe that align with your goals.

If you’ve always wanted to pick a wardrobe stylist’s brain or you have some pressing questions that don’t require a full closet/shop/style service, then click here to schedule your Ask Paul session.

I’m super excited to provide more options to advance your style! Feel free to email me if you have questions and if you’re not sure which service is right for you, click here to schedule a free 20 minute consultation where we’ll discuss your needs and figure out what works best for you.
