BBQ Ribs with Dry Rub

It’s grilling time Tomatoes. Here’s a flavorful BBQ Rib Recipe using a delicious dry rub and Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce. Enjoy these succulent BBQ beef ribs with your favorite sides, whether it’s coleslaw, cornbread, or grilled veggies!

PREP TIME: OVER AN HOUR | SERVES: 4

Ingredients

  • 2-4 pounds beef ribs
  • dry rub
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp ground thyme
  • Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce
  • Original Barbecue Sauce BBQ (undefined)



Instructions

  • Rinse ribs and pat dry with a paper towel. Remove the membrane from the backside of the ribs.
  • Sprinkle the rub on the topside and rub it in well.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Wrap the ribs in heavy foil and cover the bottom rack of the grill with foil to diffuse heat. Place the wrapped ribs on the top rack using low (gas) heat until the meat shrinks on the bone (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
  • Remove the ribs from the foil and grill/smoke on low heat, adding SBR sauce to the top side 1/2 hour before desired doneness.
