Bellissima! Casa Belvedere
There is a most spectacular venue in the New York area that offers numerous events and cultural activities, and sports an incredible view of New York harbor and the Verrazano Bridge.
Casa Belvedere, which means “house with a beautiful view,” was built in 1908 by John Roebling and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Much more recently, Gina Biancardi and the Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere, produce rich cultural, educational and fun events at this unique location.
To keep this New York gem operating and viable, of course, funding is crucial. To help that effort, on June 22 there will be a wonderful event, which involves a day of golf at Silver Lake Golf Course, followed by an evening at the lovely palazzo-like Casa Belvedere.
In the evening, you will enjoy a cocktail hour, dinner, live music, cigar rolling and even bocce! (I have had the pleasure of dining on the verandah there, and felt is if I were eating “al fresco” somewhere in the hills of Tuscany.)
Additionally, I am very proud to mention that I will be one of the special guests of honor that evening, along with baseball great Jim Leyritz, radio personality Joe Causi, celebrity chef Michael Colamecco, actor and singer Gianni Russo, and actor Steve Schirripa.
I hope you will join us and Casa Belvedere for what promises to be a truly special and beautiful day and night.
