Breaking news on the restaurant front!

In addition to New York City restaurants FINALLY being given the green light to open indoors (during one of the coldest and snowiest winters on record) I have some exciting information to share.

A big apple favorite, family owned and operated Patsy’s Italian Restaurant on West 56th Street, is actually picking up stakes and traveling a little farther west. Patsy’s has established a pop-up in the fabulous community of Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Housed in the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, chef Sal Scognamillo and his staff will prepare and serve Patsy’s favorites like Linguini with Clam Sauce, Chicken Cacciatore and Eggplant Parmigiana, among other delectable dishes.

It’s a pop-up, so that means the restaurant and chef literally pop-up, stay for a while and then go. Chef Sal assures me they will be there in Asbury through April. What a delight to dine comfortably right by the beach and boardwalk, enjoying Patsy’s classic dishes in historic Asbury Park. Reservations are filling up fast so go to Resy.com or call 609-435-3100 to book your table.

You can always order Patsy’s sauces, gift baskets, cookbooks, and gift certificates at here.

Hear my conversation with the wonderful Chef Sal Scognamillo on this Sunday’s “Bagels and Broadway” radio show and podcast. From 2-3 PM on WNYM-AM Radio and on podcast following the broadcast.
