The 28th Annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention is over, the interruption caused by the closing of the Metropolitan Room has left a major gap in the community as we await word on another location and opening date, and new popular East Side Cabaret Series, created by Mark Nadler at the Beach Café, is on hiatus until May.

But look at what is happening! The cabarets and clubs are packed and booked to capacity. The love of cabaret keeps growing and so here’s a short list of some of the shows coming up. Always check the club calendars for complete listings and for schedule changes.
