Ingredients
2 ripe Avocados, peeled and pit removed
1 ripe lime
1 medium shallot, diced
10 red grape tomatoes or one plum tomato, diced
Optional- ¼ tsp. Reva Paul’s Seasoning mix
*Reva Paul’s Seasoning Mix
2-½ Tablespoons ground onion powder
2-½ Tablespoons ground garlic powder
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon pepper
Place in an airtight jar and shake until mixed.
Do NOT refrigerate. Keep at room temperature. Cover top with tin foil to keep out moisture.
Rosemary Bread, sliced
Or
Sour Dough Bread with brushed Olive Oil and crushed Rosemary
Optional- Thin sliced radish, sliced hard boiled egg
Garnish- Edible flowers
PREPARATION
Place the avocados into a bowl. Coarsely mash with a fork or potato masher. Squeeze the lime juice over the avocados. Add shallots and tomatoes. Add optional seasoning if desired. Toss until blended together. Serve immediately or place mixture into an airtight container sealed with plastic wrap to be held overnight in the refrigerator. Multiple the recipe as needed.
Serve on toasted bread of your choice. Additional accompaniment- sliced hard-boiled egg, sliced radish, edible flower, eggs.
