Compelling Stories Through Photos

Compelling Stories Through Photos

Singular photographs taken by an artistic eye often tell the most compelling stories. I recently came across a gallery of photos taken month by month by a celebrated photographer who splits time between New York and Italy (that is, when a pandemic is not raging across the globe.)

Last year, every month, as the novel Corona virus causing the lockdown unfolded, Terry W. Sanders documented the changing landscape of New York.

This beautiful collection of photos is published in La Voce di New York, (a New York based newspaper written in Italian for the large Italian population in this city and around the world).

For this stunning retrospective of the city during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, providing perspective of what we experienced throughout the year, go to: https://bit.ly/terrywsandersphotos

You can hear my conversation with Terry and other fascinating personalities on this Sunday’s “Bagels and Broadway with Valerie Smaldone” radio show from 2-3 PM ET on WNYM-AM, online, on Alexa and on podcast following the broadcast: https://bit.ly/bagelsandbroadwaypodcasts
