The Sunset Strip is bringing Late Night Drive-In serving a host of horror films to honor the Halloween Season. The Fabulous Chickies in Concert
I feel so honored and privilege just to know a few of these 11 marvelous gals. And masters of their craft at the top of their game they truly are. Eleven singers, stunningly talented women who also happen to be best girlfriends. When they get together, one heck of a wonderful concert is born!
It is a delight to see them sharing their talents and their friendship with us to do good for The Actors Fund. Each chickie has stunningly performs their own solo that will take your breath away as well. During these tough times, it is an amazing and uplifting hour break that I highly recommend. You’ll also learn about the important work of The Actors Fund and it isn’t all about actors. Though the initial performance was Oct 3rd it is available to everyone for the foreseeable future to enjoy over and over and it is never too late to donate . It’s a super duper treat Tomatoes.

Unique Outdoor Dining Spots
As all you Tomatoes know I always give credit where credit is due. If you feel brave enough to check out outdoor dining, then Infatuation LA has an incredible list of suggestions and I’m sure there must be one in your neighborhood where the restaurant follows safety protocols perfectly.
They must have socially distanced tables and require masks when patrons are not eating or drinking. Infatuation LA just updated their recommendations which include 100+ spots that have just added patios or expanded their outdoor dining spaces. Just click on your preferred city on the list and you will see the suggestions in that area. And now that the weather is a bit cooler it’s the perfect time to give it a try. Here’s the list.

It ain’t only about voting for President in this election. Yes, it’s the biggie on the ballot but there so much more to consider for our state. “California Ballot Measures: Pros & Cons with the League of Women Voters,” hosted by the Skirball Center Words and Ideas Program, will provide Tomatoes with a nonpartisan overview of the most pressing state ballot measures up for a vote on November 3rd. So, get ready to get informed and to vote.
Ranging from the rights of gig workers to reforms on our property tax system, the results of the upcoming election will have widespread impact on Californians. Grab your sample ballot and join in the discussion. The virtual talk will be led by Mona Field, Co-President of the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles. The Sunset Strip presents Late Night Drive-In at the beautiful Andaz Hotel on Fridays and Saturdays in October. This is no ordinary drive in experience with popcorn and soft drinks, Tomatoes. This drive-in offers wine and champagne! Need I say more?!
Well, I will. The Late Night Drive-In will not only serve up wine and champagne and a variety of tasty fine food but will offer up at slate of programming that tends to be old-school art house loaded with classics and critical faves. Along those lines, the Halloween schedule emphasizes classic and cult titles from 1970s and ’80s. It also provides a safe and comfortable entertainment location during the pandemic.
