March 9 – 28. It’s a Life
It’s hard to imagine how a show about the many facets of death can be transformative, funny, inspiring and life affirming but “It’s a Life” from the JWT, producing/director Susan Morgenstern and a first class cast, does just that. The opening night performance will also be accompanied by a new exhibit in The Gallery at the Braid. Get your tickets soon, Tomatoes, I know you will love this show.
The exhibit will feature photography, drawings and sculpture, all around the theme of the show Tomatoes. “It’s a Life”celebrates life and shares personal narratives about death and the ways survival can lead to new understanding, comfort, wisdom and yes, laughter. “Our goal at JWT is not only to entertain (though this show is highly entertaining), but to move hearts and minds and allow everyone to see their story on our stage. Talking about death is challenging for many of us, and this show will jumpstart meaningful conversations in our theatre and afterwards. I think everyone will connect to these stories.” Adds Producing Director Susan Morgenstern. “It’s a Life” stars Lisa Robins, Arva Rose, Harris Shore and Charlotte Evelyn Williams. Hope you get to the show and enjoy.
