Miami Life: F45 Classes, Pizza Classes, Stadium Concerts, Slingshots
You may have heard about the F45 body workout and now they’re coming to Miami. Here’s your chance to learn how to make pizza. Have you ever been to a concert in one of Miami’s stadiums? How comfortable were you? Pizzeria in Miami is hosting an intimate hands-on pizza-making experience. Slingshots, those three-wheel motorcycles, scare me to death, but they’re very popular in Miami for daredevils, and they’re not all young people renting them.
F45 Is Coming to Miami
Friends of mine in their 60’s and 70’s love the F45 body workout because they feel it totally exercises every inch of them. I feel such rigorous exercise could be dangerous in senior years. However, who are you going to listen to, a person who sits all day in front of a computer (me), or a person who devotes him or herself to daily workouts? You decide. Hahaha. Well now they’re coming to Miami so I just may have to try it.
F45 is specifically designed to provide a functional full-body workout while improving energy levels, metabolic rate, strength, and endurance. The nice thing about it is that the functional training classes continuously evolve so virtually no two workouts are ever the same.
The F45 Training helps members transform their lifestyle physically and mentally. I could use a little of that. I am so tired of putting on extra pounds as I get older. If I could change my attitude towards exercising, I would feel so much better. The F45 team claims their method is one of the most time-efficient ways of training.
The most attractive thing about the program is that they claim all participants can I burn up to 750 calories per 45-minute session. When I know more about the program, I will update this notification.
It will be at the GoodTime Hotel, 601 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, for starters and then other locations. southpointemiami@f45training.com
Warning: Miami Stadium Concerts May Not Be for Seniors
My friend Sara Levinson posted this on Facebook. Many 50 plus folks feel the same way. We demand respect, comfort, and professionalism all the time, especially when it is very hot outside. Could you sit in these for a long concert, even if it’s Lady Gaga?
Miami Pizza Cooking Lessons
Cosmo Cramer on Seinfeld always believed everyone should make their own pizza. He wanted to open a restaurant with that capability. Guess what? Harry’s Pizzeria Miami is giving cooking classes the last Wednesday of every month so at least you learn the techniques.
Harry’s Pizzeria is hosting an intimate hands-on pizza-making experience. Join us on the last Wednesday of each month for a night of cocktails, pizza-making, and of course, pizza eating! The night will start with a cocktail and passed bites, followed by a hands-on pizza-making tutorial hosted by our Pizza Chefs. Sip wine and beer while we cook your pizzas. Then, you’ll get to show them off and enjoy your creations.

Slingshots Are For Miami Daredevils!
I’m not saying I condone Slingshots because they scare me to death, but I can’t deny that they are very popular in Miami. What’s even scarier is that I see a lot of couples over 60 renting them. What are they thinking? I know exactly what’s on their minds. They want to relive their youth. They want to show the world that they are still capable of living in the fast lane. I say, “Okay but please be careful in these new contraptions. They go faster than you think, and younger folks will challenge you to a race. You will be tempted to show off, but don’t do it. Stay safe.”
South Beach Slingshot Rentals has every type of crazy vehicle you can think of. Book online or call (305) 874-0934.
