We hope you’re enjoying every second of summer. But thinking ahead to fall, we have two awesome events. Join us on Sept. 17 for an evening with America’s Most Organized Man. And Sept. 22 is our annual wine trip. Details soon. Lots to do this summer in and around NYC. Head to book nights under the Brooklyn Bridge, or twilight Tuesdays at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. And Harlem’s biggest party is about to get started. And a quick train ride will get to the beautiful beaches of Long Beach and the International Film Festival.  Love comedies? Valerie Smaldone says go see “Two’s A Crowd,” a new comedy starring Rita Rudner.


Join The Three Tomatoes for an evening that can your change your life with one of the pioneers of professional organizing.  Andrew Mellen was a panelist at our spring Renewal Summit and Tomatoes loved him. Books Beneath the Bridge

Head to Pier 1 Granite Prospect on Monday nights for book readings by featured authors, representing six of Brooklyn’s best independent bookstores. Harlem Week is a month-long celebration. Now in its 45th year , HARLEM WEEK offers over 100 events throughout the summer to over 2 million attendees from all over New York and the world. HARLEM WEEK celebrates the neighborhoods assets and unique flavor, promoting Harlem’s rich African, African-American, Caribbean, Hispanic and European history, cultures, arts, entertainments, and sports. July 31-Aug. 3. Long Beach International Film Festival

NYC LIFE: Books, Gardens, Harlem, Film and Fall Events

A quick train ride from NYC will get to beautiful Long Beach on Long Island for the Long Beach International Film Festival.  This event gets bigger every year. This year over 50 films will be screened and you’ll find tasting events, parties, and strolling the board walk.  Get the details.

    Even though I live in Hawaii, I love reading the Three Tomatoes NYC Guide!! It keeps me connected to the pulse of the Big Apple!! Especially when I visit to be enthralled by the FALL COLORS, I feel right at home.
