Books Beneath the Bridge
A perfect summer night’s story starts with Books Beneath the Bridge. Head to Pier 1 Granite Prospect on Monday nights for book readings by featured authors, representing six of Brooklyn’s best independent bookstores. Harlem Week is a month-long celebration. Now in its 45th year , HARLEM WEEK offers over 100 events throughout the summer to over 2 million attendees from all over New York and the world. HARLEM WEEK celebrates the neighborhoods assets and unique flavor, promoting Harlem’s rich African, African-American, Caribbean, Hispanic and European history, cultures, arts, entertainments, and sports. July 31-Aug. 3. Long Beach International Film Festival
A quick train ride from NYC will get to beautiful Long Beach on Long Island for the Long Beach International Film Festival. This event gets bigger every year. This year over 50 films will be screened and you’ll find tasting events, parties, and strolling the board walk. Get the details.
