Feb. 21. A Few Tickets Left to Meet Michael Riedel. The 3Ts Saloon Salon Evebnt.

NYC LIFE:  Carnegie Deli Re-Opens, Salons, VIP Invites, Worthy Causes

Broadway reporter Michael Riedel has earned his reputation as the “bad boy” of Broadway. He’s been punched out by producers, thinks “Hamilton” is overrated, and has done the unthinkable, by reviewing plays still in previews.  No wonder we love him. And now he’s written a history of Broadway in is very entertaining book, “Razzle Dazzle”. Join us on Feb. 21st for an intimate and fun afternoon with him at The Drawing Room (the old Elaine’s).  But hurry, just a handful of tickets left.

Feb. 16. VIP Invite to a Reading of Miss Valentine

NYC LIFE:  Carnegie Deli Re-Opens, Salons, VIP Invites, Worthy Causes

Here’s a special invite to tomatoes from the League of Professional Theater Women to attend a reading of Miss Valentine, the latest in their Julia’s Reading Room series. Inspired by the life of Esther Howland, “The Mother of the American Valentine,” Miss Valentine is a whimsical tale of an ambitious, Victorian woman who becomes one of the most successful female entrepreneurs of her day. As she crafts Valentine cards for her thriving business, her own love life suffers with the pangs of unrequited love. The play is written by Nadine Bernard and directed by Tricia Brouk and produced by our very talented tomato pal, Ivy Austin.

The reading starts at 7PM at the Players Club in Gramercy Park.  And it’s FREE to tomatoes. February 16 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.  Please RSVP to:  JRR@theatrewomen.org

The Carnegie Deli Re-Opens!!!

NYC LIFE:  Carnegie Deli Re-Opens, Salons, VIP Invites, Worthy Causes

We first met Marian Harper whose Dad was one the co-founders of the world famous Carnegie Deli a few years back when she first moved from Long Island to NYC and she came to one of our 3T events. We then met her at the Carnegie and interviewed her for the 3Ts.  We instantly adored her and still do, and have shared many a martini together.  If you read the NY papers, you know she’s had a lot of “sh*t” thrown at her in the past couple of years. And we couldn’t be happier that she has survived and thrived and despite the odds, has re-opened NYC’s most iconic Jewish Deli.  There is none other like it and they have the best matzo ball soup anywhere.   Support the Carnegie Deli, tell your friends it’s back, and tell Marian she’s one super tomato!
