It’s National Dog Day and if you love your furry pals like the Head Tomato (with her dogs above) take your dog to dinner in NYC as Doggy Restaurant Week wraps up. Sept. 22. Join us for a Fabulous Day in the Vineyards
This is one of our flagship events every year. We head out to the vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork on a luxury bus (pickup points in NYC and Hicksville) visiting three vineyards and a farm, with VIP tastings, a picnic lunch, great gift bags in the company of other wine loving Tomatoes. Take Your Pooch to Dinner
Several restaurants in NYC invite you to dine with your dog this weekend, as Doggy Restaurant Week wraps up. Dining is outdoors, and several of the restaurants have special doggy menus too. And help support these two wonderful rescue dog groups, Foster Dogs Inc and Muddy Paws Rescue online or at the restaurants
Aug. 24. Pup portraits at Sony Square
Quick – head to Sony Square (25 Madison Avenue) and get your Fido photographed for National Dog Day. Up to three images from the photoshoot will be delivered digitally, and if you post your dog’s photo on Instagram and tag @sonysquarenyc, your dog could be featured on Sony Square’s Instagram story. Through Aug. 30. Woodstock Photo Exhibit
50 years ago, a music & arts festival took place on Yasgur’s Farm in upstate New York. This cultural phenomenon now known as Woodstock was billed as “An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music.” C. Parker Gallery, brings the “art” back to the Festival with 30 days of Peace, Love and Artwork featuring photographs and art from many of the original Woodstock performers such as Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, Santana, The Who and an original painting from Graham Nash.
