Sept. 14. Taste of North Brooklyn
Head to one of Brooklyn’s hippest neighborhoods for taste samples from 40 local restaurants and bars with live music at Taste Williamsburg Greenpoint at East River State Park in Brooklyn for age 21+ (but children age 11 and younger are allowed). Get the details.

Sept. 18. Network Film Festival
Our very talented friend Nicole Gut has two movies in The Network Film Festival which she co-wrote and acts in as well. OPPOSITE OF LOVE and LULLABY.
OPPOSITE OF LOVE is a mother/son short drama about an alcoholic mother who is a well known writer who has succumbed to alcoholism and her son; an aspiring writer, who’s “claim to fame” could be writing a graphic novel about his mother.
LULLABY is a short thriller about a homeless woman, who used to be a singer and has lost her voice. She is attacked by two punks and stabbed to death. However, her ghost comes back for revenge.

Sept. 22. Don’t Miss the Wine Bus
LULLABY is a short thriller about a homeless woman, who used to be a singer and has lost her voice. She is attacked by two punks and stabbed to death. However, her ghost comes back for revenge.
This is one of our flagship events every year. We head out to the vineyards of Long Island’s North Fork on a luxury bus (pickup points in NYC and Hicksville) visiting three vineyards and a farm, with VIP tastings, a picnic lunch, great gift bags in the company of other wine loving Tomatoes. Sept. 23. An Evening with Tomatoes Got Talent Winner Christina Connors
The incredibly talent vocalist Christina Connors will be the featured speaker and performer at Jan Goldstoff’s next Golden Rolodex event. She will be singing songs from her album DREAM BIGGER and will talk about living our life purpose during these challenging times. Get tickets online or at the door.
The Old Razzle Dazzle: An Evening of Lies, Lying and Liars
Internationally renowned pianist-singer Mark Nadler brings a provocative, timely, fun show to the Beechman this fall. Mendacity and half-truths abound in the new, critically acclaimed musical solo work. The Old Razzle Dazzle: An Evening of Lies, Lying and Liars will bow at the Laurie Beechman Theatre this fall on Wednesdays, Sept. 11th, 25th and Oct. 23rd at 7pm, and Oct. 30th at 9:30pm. Please join Cheryl Benton (aka the “head Tomato”) and other members of the NYC Leadership Council for a wonderful event to celebrate International Day of the Girl. If you believe as we do that it is critical that girls everywhere – no matter where they are born – have a right to safety, medical care, education, and a chance at a great life then please join us.
