Fun events that connect fun, smart tomatoes has always been at the heart of The Three Tomatoes and our many events.  And now we’re excited to tell you about two new groups you should know about – Merrill’s Girls and The Tribe of Superbwomen.  And both have events coming up this month. Here’s another great event: The Harlem Gospel Choir sings Adele at B.B. Kings. Love chocolates? Head to the Chocolate Fest. And if you’re in the Hudson Valley don’t miss the screening of “Stillpoint”.

April 8.  Screening of “Stillpoint”

Attention Hudson Valley Tomatoes.  Actress and award winning documentarian, Penny Peyser, will be screening her new film, “Stillpoint”, at the Irvington Town Hall Theater, Irvington, NY,  Friday, April 8 at 8 PM.  The documentary chronicles two years in the life of a unique Zen meditation center where her estranged sister lived for a decade.  The road to enlightenment is rocky.  For tickets and information visit: Irvingtontheater.com/film

April 10.  Chocolate Festival at the 92Y

Chocoholics this one’s for you.  Head to the 92Y and get your fix. Expect chocolate-and-cheese pairings from Chocolat Moderne and Lucy’s Whey, tiny ice cream cones from Penny Lick Ice Cream, and vino-and-chocolate pairings from Gotham Wines & Liquors and Guittard.  Sun, Apr 10, 2016, 7:30 pm; Lexington Avenue at 92nd St;  Buttenwieser Hall. Tickets start at $35.00

April 11. Launch Party for The Tribe of Superbwomen

NYC Life:  Events that Connect, Movie Screenings, Chocolates and MoreCheryl Benton, “the head tomato” is extending a personal VIP invitation to all tomatoes to attend the launch party of the Tribe of Superbwomen.  She is one of the executive council members of this new exclusive, invitation only community designed to allow successful Superbwomen to connect and thrive, both personally and professionally. Find out more at the launch party where you’ll meet other successful women and learn more about this new community.  The FREE, invite only event, is April 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Tournesol Wellness – 26 East 36th Street, NYC. April 25. Dinner and Book Event

A favorite tomato of ours, Merrill Stone, loves people and loves hearing their stories. She is launching “Merrill’s Girls” whose goal is to create a nurturing environment where women can learn, laugh, share and feel connected to a loving, social, and intellectually curious community. She is launching her first event  featuring  Dinitia Smith, a British novelist who will discuss her soon to be released book, “The Honeymoon.” Enjoy dinner, a glass of wine, a lively conversation and meet some other fabulous tomatoes.
