Oct. 22. The Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade
Hurry, hurry today to Tompkins Square Park with or without a pooch. It’s so much fun to see New York pooches putting on some of the cutest and most creative costumes you’ve ever seen. There will be hundreds of dogs! Runway competition begins at Noon. There is no need to pre-register, just come and have fun. Suggested Donations is $5 at the door. A parade of all contestants and spectators will follow after Best In Show is announced. Noon to 3PM.
Oct. 24. What Women Really Care About this Election Year.
Join our friends at 6-Figures for an honest and open nonpartisan dialogue: “From All Sides of the Spectrum: What We Really Care About in This Election Year.” With special guest stars: Leslie Jayne Seymour, former Editor in Chief of More Magazine, Marie Claire & Redbook; and Susan Solovic, *The* Small Business Expert, Journalist, Media Personality, and NY Times Bestselling Author. Event is slated for 6 – 9:00 pm. Hosted at a beautiful Financial District rooftop enclosed lounge, the event includes adult beverages, hearty appetizers, and an engaging panel discussion. This free event, features one of our favorite tomatoes, Deborah Goldstein, Founder of DRIVEN, who will talk about workplace stress and your health, along with Serena Goldstein, MD, Deborah Farkash of Living Well Inside and Outside, and a SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER from theAmerican Cancer Society (to be announced). October 30. Lyricist Michael Colby celebrates a BIG Birthday with a Benefit
Our cabaret reviewer Sandi Durell presents (and will also perform in) a wonderful celebration paying tribute to Michael Colby with his many songs and shows and a large cast of performers from Broadway to Cabaret including Eddie Korbich, PJ Benjamin, Lori Tan Chinn, Louisa Flaningam, Stephen Berger, Jeff Harnar, Heather MacRae, and many more. Also performing is our Tomatoes Got Talent co-producer and uber tomato, Randie Levine-Miller!! The evening will benefit Child Find of America.

Oct. 30. Central Park Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Flotilla
If the Village Parade is a little too over the top for you, head uptown to Central Park. This kid friendly event is a fun afternoon for kids and grownup kids too. Enjoy live music, spooky stories, pumpkin carving demonstrations, a costume parade, and the Central Park Conservancy’s signature Pumpkin Flotilla, which sets sail across the Harlem Meer at twilight! This year’s event will also include live bat encounter presentations by the Organization for Bat Conservation. This event is free and open to all ages.

Nov. 10. Merrill’s Girls Event to Feature 3T Stylist Scarlett DeBease
“Learn How to Transform Your Wardrobe Without Spending A Dime & Bring Out Your Inner Glamour”. So here’s an event with two more of our favorite tomatoes. Join Merrill Stone at her next Merrill’s Girls event for dinner at Radiccho and a wonderful presentation from 3T image coach Scarlett DeBease. Major Fun Alert: Bring one item from your own wardrobe that you would love to know what to do with, or ask if you should even be wearing. You’ll get her specific feedback that will transform how you view and wear the clothes you already own.
