The Green Room 42 presents two performances by Broadway actress-singer – she was Christine in Phantom of the Opera – MAC and Bistro Award winner, Raissa Katona Bennett, in a CD release celebration for CAN’T HELP SINGING – THE MUSIC OF JEROME KERN. Raissa will appear Nov. 13th and Nov. 27th at 7pm , singing some of Kern’s greatest hits, including “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes,” “All the Things You Are” and “The Way You Look Tonight.” Jon Weber, Music Director, and Bassist Tom Hubbard. Dec. 1. Karen Nason Show to Benefit “Because I am a Girl”
The awesome Karen Nason, and our first Tomatoes Got Talent winner, is bringing her new show, “From Maine to Manhattan” to Don’t Tell Mamas. She’s a powerhouse singer with great stories and guests include Sidney Myer, and piano players Loren Korevec who played for years at “Elaine’s” and with “The Band, pls Joel Diamond music composer who has worked Eric Clapton and Graham Parker . And the $25 cover fee will be donated to our favorite non-profit, “Because I am a Girl”. Reserve now. CASH only and there is a 2- drink minimum.
Dec. 8. Audrey Givens Performs at the Triad
Audrey Givens started singing professionally at the age of 6. She had recording contracts too and then had to give up singing about 10 years. We met her on her comeback trail when she auditioned for Tomatoes Got Talent and blew us away. She was a finalist in our 2017 show. Well she’s back and you definitely want to catch her show at The Triad. Saturday Dec. 8 @ 7 PM. Get details and tickets.
