A Message from Valerie Smaldone
Thank you so much for all your kind words of condolences and support on the passing of my mother. It has meant so much to me and I am truly appreciative of your kindness during this difficult time. Thank you so much, Three Tomatoes community.
Need Laundry Done?
If you don’t have a washer and dryer, laundry can be a real issue right now. As you may know, many of the city’s local laundromats have closed their doors. And many of you do not feel comfortable doing your laundry in your building’s laundry room. But here’s great news!!! Load Laundromat located in the East Village is doing pickup and delivery all over Manhattan, and they even have an app you can download. They’re ready for your business. Get the details.
New York City Restaurants Delivery
It’s sad to say that many of our favorite little restaurants and some large ones too that were trying to stay in business by takeout and delivering, have had to close their doors. But there is delivery from a number of restaurants through online delivery services, like grubhub, ubereats, Doordash and Postmates. Many of these are delivering for some of your favorite restaurants too. So look for your restaurant and see if they have online delivery. For example
IlMulino Uptown has a wonderful menu and you can have it delivered.
Tonys DiNapoli on the upper East Side will deliver from 86th st to 57th st, from 5th Ave to FDR Drive.
Katz’s Deli – yep, if you have hankering for corned beef, you can get it delivered in city. You can also ship some products anywhere.
Benjamins Steak House is selling their butcher meats (uncooked) and running specials almost daily. They can ship and depending on where you are located in NYC, they can do same day deliver.
Morton’s Fifth Avenue has take out and delivery. The take out menu has some relatively inexpensive offerings. And you can buy a $100 gift certicate right now for just $85.
NYC Grocery Stores Delivery
Thanks to NYC on the Cheap for putting together this guide to delivery by NYC markets, including meal kits, prepared meals, and such household necessities as cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products.
