NYC Life: Music, Music, Music, Met Nights and Woodstock Retreats
There’s nothing better than live music, and NYC has it aplenty. We have 3 great suggestions. If you’re in town this summer, check out Friday nights at the Met. And not to rush summer, but Women At Woodstock has two retreats this fall.
June 28. Hit Makers: Icons in Performance and Conversation with Valerie Smaldone
One of our favorite Rod Stewart songs is “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” which Carmine Appice, legendary rock drummer, co-wrote. He’s performed with Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne, Jeff Beck, Vanilla Fudge and many other bands. He will join Valerie for an onstage-conversation and will also perform and do a book signing. Tuesday, June 28 at the Sheen Center (7:30 PM.) Get your tickets now.
June 28. Ellen Kaye at Chez Josephine
LiveIt!LIVE is bringing their next live music event to Chez Josphine. Created by a few of our favorite people, Ethan Fein (founder), Edgardo Burgos, Seth Goldman and the fabulous performer Ellen Kaye, LiveIt!LIVE is a new non-profit growing sustainable live entertainment everywhere we go. Ellen Kaye will be hosting and performing along with some other wonderful entertainers. Here’s to live music! Show starts at 8:30 PM. No cover charge, Chez Josephine will open for dinner at 5PM.
