NYC LIFE: Orchids, Food & Wine, Planetarium, Fun 3T Events
Happy Valentine’s weekend. We had a great time this week at a private event at Nordstrom with several of our NYC Insider Club members. The orchids are back, and this year’s show is a “Kaleidoscope” of color. There’s a brand-new space show at the Planetarium narrated by Lupita Nyong’o, just in time for winter school vacations. The Kosher Food and Wine festival is in town. Valerie Smaldone is sharing her V-Day gift guide – 5 unique experiences and products. If you sign up now for our May 1 Renewal Summit, you’ll save $15. And tickets are now on sale for our 7th Tomatoes Got Talent Show.
A Great Evening at Nordstrom
Early this week, several of our NYC Insider Club members were hosted by Nordstrom in NYC their beautiful personal styling salon for a wonderful conversation with Jane Goldman, author of “With No Regrets, Growing Older: Face It, Live It, Love It” a great message for Valentine’s Day. And special thanks to John Seery who heads up the personal styling salon who updated us on all their services including (free) helping you find the perfect outfit for any occasion, or having them come to your home to audit your closet, and so much more. We are so happy Nordstrom now has a home in NYC – it’s an awesome destination. If you’re not a member of the NYC Insiders’ Club, https://thethreetomatoes.com/nyc-insiders-clubget the details.

This is always such a spectacular event at the New York Botanical Gardens. This year you can experience the bold and colorful vision of famed artistic director of the Four Seasons hotel in Paris, Jeff Leatham, through captivating installations and designs, transforming each gallery into a different color experience and visual effect, like the turn of a kaleidoscope.
Thousands of orchids provide bursts of forms and colors—in purples, reds, oranges, and hot pink—revealed through overhead arches, vine-inspired ribbons, mirrored sculpture, dramatic lighting, and other artistic embellishments.
