It’s Halloween weekend and that means Thanksgiving is less than a month away. Yikes! And Bryant Park welcomes in the holidays today with the opening of the ice skating rink and the holiday shops!! Time to think about our neighbors in need and you can help by donating a turkey.  But let’s remember, it’s still Fall. Here are a few events (and a good deed) to enjoy before the holiday madness sets in.

St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters Turkey Drive

NYC LIFE: Turkeys, Tango, Ice Skating, Food & Design

We love this organization that is there for our neighbors who need food and shelter. With over 40 food pantries and shelters, they serve over 1.2 million meals every year.  You can make a big difference this Thanksgiving by donating a turkey (or more) to families in our area, so they too can share a Thanksgiving that is about togetherness and love, not their next meal. And their annual fundraising event, the Doodle for Hunger Live Art Auction – our favorite charity event of the year – is next week, Nov. 3.   Please Donate  a turkey help us to spread the word!  (Hashtag your support: #StFFPturkeydrive)
