Saluting our Healthcare Workers
As the world slowly starts to wake from the pause that we have all taken, health care and hospital workers are continuing to be taxed and stressed by the enormous toll of treating victims of the pandemic. It has been a relentless task, and we have all expressed gratitude, as shown by the 7PM applause they receive each evening throughout New York.
Here is a beautiful video produced by Wicked the Musical thanking these heroes—inspiring and moving .
Now, a really great way to show gratitude to healthcare workers is to feed them. And, another legendary New York restaurant has jumped into the fray to to do just that.
Tony’s di Napoli has instituted a wonderful way for all of us to get involved, and to help support the restaurant during this financial crisis. Tony’s is delivering meals to hospital workers throughout the city.
For $25 you can provide a meal for a healthcare worker, and Tony’s will match your donation with a second meal for another front line warrior. Learn more here.
I love this program that Tony’s has initiated.
