Sonnets from Suburbia: An Appeal to Rockstars
An Appeal to Rockstars
Could I make an appeal to some rockstars?
I’ll write in verse so I’ll avoid a rant,
for those of us who don’t hang out in bars
or stay up late because we simply can’t.
Would it be such a hassle to perform
much earlier so we could hear you play
and revel in your music? Not the norm
but how about a measly matinee??
Hey Boss man, you are old so what’s the prob?
And Green Day, all you guys are not too young
to cause our hardened arteries to throb,
recalling all the gold tunes you’ve sung.
These super late-night concerts aren’t fair
to all your fans who are on Medicare.
