Style Tips and Best Labels for the Size 12 and Up

Most of my clients are over 55, under 5’4” and wear size 12 and up.

Most, okay all, are not crazy about their bodies, and you should know neither are the ladies who wear a size 8 or a 4. Go figure.

I really care about how my clients feel about themselves and it is my specialty to make their figures look good with the right clothes, and dessert need not be skipped to wear them.

These are my favorite labels for my clients, and since sharing is caring, here they are.

SEJOUR – Nordstroms in store and online.Stylish clothes that can actually move in.

Lysee makes the most incredibly comfortable, suck you in at the right places, leggings and pants. Note the seams on these pull on pants. This detail makes the legs look taller and thinner, and yes they come in black.

Nic & Zoe designs her clothes to minimize the middle, be comfortable and look very stylish.

Another slimming tip is to add interesting necklaces and earrings to bring the eyes up and away from all the body parts you think need minimizing. Plus, it’s fun to take a simple outfit, let’s say your all black standby ensemble, and transform it from boring to brilliant when you add color and whimsy with your jewelry.

As a specialist in the plus sizes , I am a size 14/16, and being a personal shopper myself, I have to let you know about a few more brands. I am absolutely in love with a website called Eloquii, and have turned on so many women sized 12 and over to them. They are online only with two shops one in NYC and not sure about the other. Also had success with ModCloth which has tons of plus options, WHBM also now has plus, and City Chic. Plus most brands this day are getting in to this market FINALLY! So many more options! Also Long Tall Sally is a favorite of mine because I have a 35″ inseam and am 5’11” and they go up to 18 but run a size big so that niche of tall and thick is now being beautifully covered!
