Here are my favorite products from last year that I’ll be ringing in the New Year with. One of the hottest items is air fryers. I didn’t think I needed another kitchen device, but now that I have an air fryer I don’t know how I lived with it. You’ll see my unbridled enthusiasm in this video demo. Air Fryers for Healthier Eating

This is definitely one of the biggest cooking trends going into 2021. I am thrilled with mine, as you can see in this video when I air fry  French fries using only one tablespoon of oil.  It also does the best grill cheese sandwiches. It’s amazing all the foods you can air fry –  just google air fryer recipes and you’ll be hooked.

Move Over Olive Oil

Instead of bringing of a bottle of wine, a friend brought us a bottle of Avocado Oil. We’re hooked. Made from avocados, its pure and delicious. Wonderful on salads and because it has a high 500°F smoke point, avocado oil can be used for any purpose, from high-heat sauteing and flame grilling, to dressing mixed greens, grains and pasta salads.

And it’s a a heart-healthy oil, high in oleic acid, which is an unsaturated fat. It contains vitamin E and also helps the body absorb other fat-soluble vitamins. Avocado oil is low in LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol, and high in HDL, or “good,” cholesterol.

I love using skin care sheet masks and when I found these “tomato masks” I had to try them.  There are several brands, but here’s one  I love, and I promise you’ll see an immediate difference in your skin. Dramatically Improve Your Zoom Lighting

For months I’ve been playing around with my zoom lighting. I even bought a cube lamp that was touted everywhere that I ended up returning. And then I found this 10” ring light that is perfect. Don’t think it’s just for selfie photos, although it does a holder for your cell phone. This one comes with an adjustable tripod and I place it on my desk in  back of my laptop and my lighting is now almost broadcast studio perfect. And the best part? It’s only $26.99 on Amazon.

I’ve written about this before, but it deserves another shout out.  If you typically blow dry and style your hair with a dryer and round brush this all-in-one dryer/styler from Revlon is a game change.  It has well over 7,000 well deserved five star reviews. Love this Moisturizer

While it’s not a new product, I had not tried Olays unti recently, and I’m hooked. It’s advertised as night cream, but I’ve been using in the morning and at night. It nicely seeps into your skin in the morning and is easy to apply makeup. A really luxurious moisturizer that is so reasonablly priced.
