Theatre for All Initiative

A very special opportunity for actors with disabilities

Queens Theatre, through its Theatre For All initiative, will provide a free two-week workshop for selected actors with disabilities this September. The program includes workshops on Acting for the Camera, Acting for the Stage, Movement, Voice, Improv, Auditioning, and Commercial Acting and culminates with a showcase, where each student will have an opportunity to get feedback from industry professionals.  Now in its second year, the program runs Sept. 8-20 and takes place at Queens Theatre, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. A team of seasoned and celebrated professionals will teach the courses.

Please note that applications must be in by Monday, July 15 at noon.

And, Bagels and Broadway will be celebrating its one-year anniversary this Saturday! I’ll feature a couple of my favorite interviews, including with the incredible Brenda Vaccaro, and the fabulous Stephen Schwartz, composer of Wicked.

Join me for the party, on WNYM-AM Saturday morning. You can also hear it online at www.am970theanswer.com, or on Alexa. If you miss it, no worries. Just a podcast away!
