Trailblazer Tavern, Hawaiian Comfort Food

If you are feeling in need of a tropical get away, but are stuck in town, head to Trailblazer Tavern for a taste of Hawaii. Backed by Michael Mina and created by a Hawaiian hubby and wife chef duo, Trailblazer Tavern hits the mark with inventive and oh so tasty cuisine. Located in our tallest building, that’s right, The Salesforce Tower, this hot spot opened in December and has received rave reviews.

Trailblazer Tavern, Hawaiian Comfort Food

The large space has seating for almost 200 diners in all of its various seating locations. The menu is Hawaiian comfort food, but it is unique and very upscale. Sure you can get the most delish poke, and Korean fried chicken to tease your palate. But don’t stop there, the miso honey glazed butterfish and mocha crusted fish with somen noodles are mouthwatering. Hankering for a little shaved ice – have at it with their coffee and cream ice with rum panna cotta. As always with a new hot spot, resos highly recommended.
