Valerie Smaldone Talks About Directing Her First Feature Film
A feel-good movie just in time for the holidays, or anytime.
Valerie Smaldone has taken her talents as one of the top voiceover people in the country (she’s a 5x Billboard Magazine winner), a fabulous interviewer, actress, producer, and now she has produced and directed her first feature film The Thursday Night Club that features Gloria Gaynor. The film’s producers have also partnered with the national bone marrow registry Be the Match, to bring awareness to the need for bone marrow and stem cell donation. The film is streaming on Pure Flix.
We talked about Valerie’s evolution from radio host to producing and directing, how this film came about and its mission to lift people up and inspire us to be better people.
