What’s New at Eileen Lane Antique Gallery
I attended a wonderful opening at the Eileen Lane Antique Gallery at 236 East 60th. In addition to the gallery’s beautiful antique furniture, there was a retrospective of the work of a wonderful painter, Francine Renee Schneider. Schneider is a magnificent painter residing in Pennsylvania and her still lifes are so beautiful. You may not have heard of her yet, but believe me, you will.
I attended the opening before anyone else had arrived so I had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Lane who is absolutely charming and the special pleasure of speaking and spending time with Ms. Schneider. I’m not sure which I enjoyed more—seeing Ms. Schneider’s paintings or spending time chatting and getting to know her. You should definitely see this. And go to her website https://www.francinereneeschneider.com/
