This Year’s Itinerary
Pindar Vineyards
Pindar Vineyards encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. They grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. They produce 70,000 cases of wine a year, making them the largest vineyard on Long Island. We will enjoy wine tastings and music at the end of the day.
Pelligrini
The striking two-story tasting room bolstered by oak posts and hand-hewn beams. A trellised walkway connects it to the spacious and modern production facility where visitors can watch the wine making process. Upstairs is a private tasting area with spectacular panoramic views of the winery’s centerpiece, its courtyard which features a classic Italian cloister design. This state-of-the-art facility combines the best of modern winemaking technology yet honors Bob’s design passion for Old World traditions. We will have lunch there.
Ninety acres of vinifera grapes grow under the watchful eye of the soaring Osprey, our vineyard’s namesake. We’ll enjoy tastings in a private area, and live music.

The tomato behind The Three Tomatoes.
Cheryl Benton, aka the “head tomato” is founder and publisher of The Three Tomatoes, a digital lifestyle magazine for “women who aren’t kids”. Having lived and worked for many years in New York City, the land of size zero twenty-somethings, she was truly starting to feel like an invisible woman. She created The Three Tomatoes just for the fun of it as the antidote for invisibility and sent it to 60 friends. Today she has thousands of friends and is chief cheerleader for smart, savvy women who want to live their lives fully at every age and every stage. She is the author of the novel, "Can You See Us Now?" and co-author of a humorous books of quips, "Martini Wisdom." Because she's lived a long time, her full bio won't fit here.
