Here’s to women of the theatre! March 12 FREE event.

As I’m sure you know, March is Women’s History Month. To honor women of the theatre, a major Broadway production and the Actors Fund will celebrate women on Broadway with a free event on Monday March 12.

“Women’s Day on Broadway, Celebrating Stories By, For and About Women” will take place at the St. James Theatre (the home of “Frozen”) on West 44 Street from 1-5 PM.

There will be four panels, each moderated by Gayle King, Whoopi Goldberg, Juju Chang and Meredith Vieira

Women from the areas of directing, producing, acting, design and advertising will be the panelists.

These amazing, accomplished women of the theatre will join together with media personalities in what will surely be  lively and interesting discussions. If you are in the industry or a theatre buff, this is an event that you won’t want to miss.  http://www.frozenthemusical.com/womensdayschedule/
